Project Boondh ensures access to clean and safe drinking water for underserved communities through borewells, water tankers, and filtration infrastructure.
In many rural and low-income settlements across coastal Karnataka, access to clean drinking water remains a daily struggle, especially during summer months when wells and open sources run dry.
Project Boondh addresses this directly — funding borewells, water storage and filtration setups, and emergency tanker deliveries so that no family is forced to drink unsafe water.
Since inception, 18 water projects have been successfully completed, with more in the pipeline as HIF continues to identify water-stressed pockets across the region.
